There is alkali slag injected into the side line of the stripping tower; is it caused by the alkali slag or by ammonia nitrogen issues? How to analyze this?
Does your system treat coking acidic water? If it does, alkali needs to be added; if it does not treat coking acidic water, there is no need to add alkali (as doing so will increase the ammonia nitrogen level in the purified water).

So when the ammonia nitrogen level in the purified water is high, does it mean that more alkali residue has been added? And if more alkali residue is added, does that result in an increase in the pH of the purified water as well? It should also be a matter of quantity; based on the test results, only hydrogen sulfide and ammonia nitrogen are detected. How can one determine the amount of alkali to be added? What are the effects of using too much or too little?

The amount of alkali added is adjusted based on the pH of the purified water
As for the reason for adding alkali, conduct a test to check whether it’s necessary to add alkali based on the pH value of the raw water
We have no intention of introducing large amounts of alkali from the ammonia purifier into the wastewater, thereby causing the hydrogen sulfide concentration in the purified water to exceed the specified limits.
