The project requires the use of valves that can operate at ultra-low temperatures (-200°C), high pressures (100–300 kg/cm2), and in environments with toxic substances such as HF. What procedures are required to import such valves at the customs, quality supervision authorities, and special equipment inspection and quarantine agencies? What documents are required for support? I hear there are new regulations in this regard, but I’m not very familiar with them; I’d like to know more details. Thank you!
Go to the **Ministry of Commerce in China, or the local commerce departments in provinces and municipalities directly under the central government, to obtain a form consisting of four pages. On these pages, information such as the details of the contract and the purpose of the valves must be filled in. One of these pages is to be given to the client, so that their vice president or someone of equal or higher rank can sign it for approval. After that, all four pages must be submitted back to the Ministry of Commerce for approval; the minister (or secretary) of the ministry will sign off on them before they are sent to the valve importer (or the factory’s office). The main purpose is for the countries that export valves to prevent valves imported from China from being used in nuclear energy, atomic energy, and biochemical weapons applications, or from being exported to third parties for such purposes. Manufacturers in Japan, the EU, and the United States are very strict regarding this requirement, with the aim of controlling the export of high-end valves.
With the temperature, pressure, and medium as mentioned above, I think those available in China will work
