I rarely work with target flow meters. Today, a target flow meter from Dandong Tongbo had its upstream and downstream shut-off valves closed tightly (with no leaks in those valves), yet there was still a flow rate of 2.4 T, whereas the range of this meter is 0–6 T. This issue wasn’t detected during installation, and no adjustment points could be found on the device. I would appreciate some advice from experts! Thank you!
The target rod is deformed; take it apart, pull out the rod and check it

If the levelness is not sufficient during initial installation, the alignment target plate and target rod generate axial horizontal forces due to the tilt; With long-term use of the flow meter, stress is generated as a result of stress release within the sensor ; Severe overload during installation or operation causes zero drift. All of these issues can be resolved by resetting the instantaneous flow rate. If it has been running for some time, debris may have gotten stuck between the target plate and the measurement cylinder; remove the target plate and clear the debris. Moisture in the sensor of the flow meter or insufficient insulation strength can also cause this; use a hair dryer to dry the sensor. If that doesn’t work, contact the manufacturer.
