I asked: What standards are used to determine the diameter of the container emptying pipe? For example, in a storage tank with a capacity of 2–10 m3, material is pumped out through pipes with a diameter of 50 mm at the bottom; what should be the size of the discharge pipe at the top?
A DN25 exhaust pipe should be selected; the owner can refer to the instructions on page 354 of Volume 1 of the Process Pipeline Installation Design Manual
