Simulation of a fill cooling tower? Have you really never heard of a cooling water tower?
Simply put: it’s a packed tower. How to simulate it? A circulation tank is located at the bottom of the tower; after the liquid undergoes heat exchange through a plate heat exchanger, it is reused to cool the gas passing through the tower. Also: How to set up circular logistics?

Reply to 5# fengyan0425: I have a situation similar to yours here – 65 degrees, 70% saturated wet gas enters the washing cooling tower, where it is cooled down using large amounts of circulating water, until the gas reaches 35 degrees and 100% saturation. The required temperatures for the inlet water Lin and the outlet water Lout are 32 and 40 degrees respectively. The flow rate of the circulating inlet water Lin is determined using the radfrac module; there is no condenser or reboiler involved. A theoretical plate count of 2 was chosen arbitrarily. According to the design specifications, the flow rate of the circulating inlet water is used as a variable, with a specified deltaT(Lout-Lin) of 8; this allows the flow rate of Lin to be calculated. However, it’s not possible to maintain the gas temperature at 35 degrees. Additionally, I want to create a design specification to ensure the temperature of Gout, but Vary hasn’t decided on what to use. In fact, the structure of this tower itself is an empty tower; can another model be used? Please ask the experts for guidance.
