The oil pressure systems of the two ¢2650 gas generation furnaces use two FC-CB-50 oil pumps, one in operation and one as a backup. These pumps have been in use for over two years; now, both pumps need to be operational in order to maintain the required pressure. In recent days, after replacing a 65 oil pump, pressure drop still occurs. I would appreciate it if experts could help analyze the reasons. Thank you. Could it be due to solenoid valves, electro-hydraulic valves, or other reasons?
This post was last edited by Chemical Gas Purification on 2010-12-3 at 15:24. It seems to have little to do with solenoid valves; the poster should check whether there is air in the oil, or if the oil pressure is too high or if there are too many impurities – filtering needs to be improved.
Fault: Insufficient pressure or no pressure at all. Causes of this fault phenomenon and corresponding measures: Incorrect rotation direction of the oil pump; incorrect electrical wiring – correct the electrical connections. Excessive heating of the oil pump: 1. Wear or damage to the oil pump; 2. Too low viscosity of the oil; 3. Insufficient or interrupted cooling – 1. Repair or replace the oil pump; 2. Use oil with the recommended viscosity; 3. Adjust or improve the cooling system. Loose adjustment knob of the relief valve; loose locking nut – readjust the pressure and then tighten the locking nut. Leakage from high pressure to return flow: 1. The check valve is not closed, or it is dirty, or the components are worn out. 2. Internal leakage in the valve station module 3. Wear of cylinder seals 4. Internal leakage in the solenoid directional control valve 5. Internal leakage in the oil circuit stop valve 1. Clean the check valve, repair or replace worn parts 2. Replace 3. Replace 4. Replace 5. Repair or replace
The reason is internal leakage in the directional control valve; check the solenoid valve.
If the cylinder is leaking oil, replace the seal and check the solenoid valve
1) Oil leakage in the hydraulic cylinder 2) Oil leakage in the solenoid valve 3) Wear of the plunger in the relief valve (replacement was ineffective; this issue has been resolved)
It is quite likely that the mixing of high and low pressure oils in the solenoid valve leads to low oil pressure
