For copper extraction, what concentration of organic phase do you all use? We use 26% (LIX 973N). Can it be higher?

However, the concentration needs to be determined based on the specific processes in place; it’s not the case that a higher concentration is always better, nor is a lower concentration always better. --
Then the copper content in that pre-concentrated solution must be over 50 g/l, right? What is the extraction rate?
Looking at the process, for acid leaching and extraction, the concentration of copper in the solution before extraction is 0.5–5 g/l. It seems that either ZJ998 or ZJ988 is used; it’s a mixture of 10% extractant and 90% kerosene. The concentration of the liquid after extraction is 35~45 g/l. The extraction rate fluctuates between 96.5% and 99%. Is this process parameter acceptable?

In the original cobalt plant, after iron removal, the copper content in the liquid was as high as 40–50 g/L, with a M5640 concentration of 30%; through four stages of extraction followed by neutralization, the concentration in the raffinate could be reduced to around 0.5 g/L. If the organic concentration is very high, it means that the concentration of the liquid feed is also high; alkali should be added during the extraction process to neutralize it.

For the Cu extractants in the LIX series, Corning provides a Cu concentration of around 35 g/l.
