Our factory uses wet-process zinc smelting; the original leaching reaction tanks are equipped with mechanical stirrers of the conical type. To reduce the consumption of manganese powder, we intend to convert these mechanical stirrers into air-stirred types. We are not sure how to make it so that air can serve both as a stirring agent and as an oxidizing agent. In particular, it is important to know how the air pipes should be arranged, as well as what the air pressure and flow rate should be, in order to ensure that air can exert the best oxidizing effect. Do not change it to wind stirring, as mechanical stirring requires less power. A pressure blower can be used to supply additional oxygen.
Air agitation will lower the temperature of the leaching tank, which is not favorable for the leaching reaction; And it consumes more energy.

To achieve an air dispersion effect, it is recommended to add an air distributor ring at the bottom of the tank; this can be done simply by making multiple holes evenly distributed along a circular tube. Additionally, fixing devices should be installed in the tank to prevent interference with the existing stirrer.
