How much gasoline is in the water? Removing gasoline using inorganic substances, that is, activated carbon. But if there is too much gasoline in the water, using activated carbon alone won’t work; other physical methods should be used first to remove the suspended or free oil, after which activated carbon can be used to remove the dissolved gasoline. But activated carbon needs to be properly activated.
