Recently, electrical equipment sets were procured through bidding for an engineering project. It has been found that many well-known companies also subcontract the production of complete sets of equipment to small-scale manufacturers for OEM production. In the past, production licenses were required; nowadays, 3C certifications are necessary, but the quality of such products is much lower than it used to be. Could you recommend some reputable manufacturers of complete sets of equipment based on your own usage experience?
I’m not sure whether your company is state-owned or private. Is the equipment used in large-scale installations (i.e., large factories and mines)? According to the requirements of the production process, the selection is made based on factors such as the control precision required for the equipment, the reliability of the equipment needed, and the financial capacity to purchase it. Before starting the previous project, it was necessary to investigate manufacturers that were already producing similar products. Check the usage status of similar devices, find out which company manufactured them, as well as the manufacturers of the accompanying equipment; consider several options. You’ll then know what kind of equipment to purchase.

Having a complete set has its advantages, but good intentions can lead to bad outcomes. In order to secure orders, equipment suppliers often cut corners, giving the impression of lower costs to clients; in reality, it’s not necessarily cheaper than purchasing the items individually. I work on developing a very small device. I’m not sure when domestic manufacturers will be able to produce such products. Our devices are available as complete systems in China, but due to our high prices (as they are imported, with costs related to tariffs and shipping), system integrators refuse to use them. Instead, they suggest that clients purchase their own so-called complete systems. We can only use these devices in projects with foreign investment, as foreigners do not provide them as complete systems. The suppliers charge high prices to the owners, as they have little cost of investment, so they enjoy doing this. When choosing a set, they must specify the brands for each component, and at the same time, they should find out what those brands are like; otherwise, it will be the homeowner who ends up suffering, not them. I’ve been going to the property owner recently, and they have a lot of complaints on site; therefore, I plan to replace some of them, though it’s quite troublesome.
