As the title suggests, I would like to ask the experts here: in the ECH purification process I am simulating, the steam from the top of the first dehydration tower is cooled to 70 degrees using a condenser; part of this steam condenses into a liquid, while the remaining uncondensed gas proceeds to the next condenser. What module should be used to simulate this condenser? Are there 2 outlets, one for the gas phase and one for the liquid phase? Is there a better way to model this process? I earnestly ask the experts for their guidance
Add a flash tank after the condenser to separate the two phases.

I don’t know why, but the temperature of the material coming out of the top of the tower is very low; it should normally be 81 degrees. The temperature I measured is far below that value. Why is this? It also affects the subsequent calculations. This post is sinking too quickly – I need to get it brought to the top again so that experienced people can provide an answer

The top temperature is related to the operating pressure of the tower as well as the components in the distillate at the top; check whether the operating pressure of the tower and its units are correct
The problem has been resolved; it was the pressure that was the issue. However, the latest readings show that the tower temperature is a few degrees higher, and this is probably still related to the composition of the light components being distilled out
