Before any modification order is issued for the factory delivery documents, it’s absolutely necessary to prepare a strength calculation report; there’s no doubt about that. But now that a modification order has been issued, the design team says that it’s not necessary to provide the strength calculation report to the manufacturer, and it should only be provided when the user requests it. However, the inspection officer insists on its necessity. This puts us in a difficult situation as we’re caught in the middle
If the factory data is not generated after the product is completed, then how can there be any modification orders?
If the party commissioning the design is your manufacturing plant, it has the right to request a strength calculation report； If the party commissioning the design is the owner or a third-party contractor, the owner will handle the coordination. When coordinating, it is necessary to explain the reasons clearly; citing the requirements stipulated in the \"Solid Waste Management Regulations\" and those set by the Technical Supervision Bureau can be used as a basis, and generally the owner will cooperate… This is just my personal opinion for reference only!
I agree with what was said above. Moreover, when applying for permits for containers these days, almost all boiler inspection agencies require a strength calculation sheet; even if the manufacturer provides information, it is still needed. So there’s no doubt that the design institute must prepare such a strength calculation sheet
