Reply to 1# formosapta: It is calculated theoretically based on the molar amount of one of the main reactants; the theoretical value is obtained in this way, and then the actual yield is divided by this theoretical value. That’s how I calculate it
The specific consumption of this raw material is obtained by dividing the number of moles of the reaction products (yield × percentage content divided by molecular weight) by the number of moles of the raw material.
There are many ways to calculate yield, right? So for the yield of 1-butene in my setup, it’s product/(raw material * percentage content of 1-butene)
