What are the reasons for the high value of zirconia oxidation?

Are you sure it’s not 12% inside the furnace?
The displayed values only become meaningful after 24 hours of heating; high readings are possible when combustion is incomplete, and internal components may also age over time.
Fuji’s zirconia is cheap, but its reliability is also low. Additionally, in the structure of Fuji’s zirconia, gases are guided to the detector, and there are quite a number of factors that influence this process. Yokogawa’s direct-insert type never has such problems; even if there is a slight leak at the mounting flange, it doesn’t have any significant impact.
It uses Siemens zirconia, but upon closer inspection, it’s actually Fuji’s. Zirconia oxidation requires a leak-free gas supply, stable water flow and pressure, as well as stable temperature.
