It is unclear whether it is the solution or the suspension that gives it a red appearance; if it is the color of the suspension, it could be monovalent copper.
I think it should be dust, that is, laterite (iron oxide) from the sulfuric acid production process; there must be a problem with the dust collection device earlier on.
