The weather is getting colder. How can we better prevent freezing of the submersible pumps that operate intermittently (outside the factory building), with a maximum operating time of 2 hours per day?
Construct a simple insulated \"box\", or cover the pump with insulating material when it is not in use; also insulate the pipes
Submersible pumps cannot be wrapped with insulation material; I suggest you build a simple insulated enclosure and wrap an electric heating strip around the area where it can be placed
Add insulation sleeves, otherwise it will be difficult to start and stop the operation!
