I would like to ask fellow sailors: what explosion-proof rating instruments must pass through a safety barrier?
Intrinsic safety instruments (ia) need to pass through a safety barrier to enter the control room, thus forming an intrinsic safety system.
What about ib? It’s rare to encounter it on-site.
