Adjusting the heat load means adjusting the boiler water temperature

There are two cooling methods: The SHELL gasification unit in our factory uses waste heat recovery for cooling. First, the raw syngas is quenched using cooled and washed gas, to a temperature of 850°C, and then it enters the syngas cooler where it undergoes heat exchange for further cooling (i.e., waste heat recovery), reaching a temperature of 200°C. Most other gasification units, such as those used by Texaco, employ a quenching method, in which the syngas is passed through water tanks for cooling
