There are many, each with its own strengths; there are petrochemical design institutes at Huahua No.1 Institute to Huahua No.8 Institute, as well as in various provinces.
The Shandong Provincial Chemical Engineering Planning and Design Institute has its own unique approaches to the design of synthetic ammonia, urea, and other similar products.
Could you recommend a few with moderate fees and extensive experience in ammonia synthesis?
When it comes to synthetic ammonia production, it’s probably the Eighth Chemical Research Institute – that is, Chengda in Chengdu. It has strong capabilities, but its fees are quite high.
The eight design institutes under the former Ministry of Chemical Industry are now unwilling to take on projects for small and medium-sized ammonia synthesis plants. Now they are all 50W tons, 80W tons. 120W tons – nowadays, small and medium-sized projects are basically handled by local design institutes.
From the perspective of local institutions, the Shandong Provincial Petrochemical Design Institute is the design institute that deals with a large amount of small nitrogen-based fertilizers. There are many such fertilizers in Shandong Province, and most of them were designed by this institute. They also have a good grasp of some cutting-edge technologies. And from Huazhou First Hospital to Huazhou Eighth Hospital, they really are no longer interested in low-nitrogen fertilizers.
