The degreasing mentioned above is very important; even after degreasing the oxygen pipelines, they are not yet considered safe. Due to the high pressure and flow rate of oxygen, it is not allowed for any residues to be present in the pipes. Residues such as welding slag or other types of debris can generate sparks, which may lead to an explosion in the oxygen pipelines. Therefore, compressed air or high-pressure nitrogen can both be used for high-pressure purging. After purging, experiments should be conducted using materials with a smooth surface, such as aluminum plates, to determine whether the purging was thorough. When a leak occurs in the oxygen pipeline, for example after the gasifier is started and the pressure gradually increases, it is necessary to check for leaks at the valve flanges of the oxygen pipeline at various pressure levels. Large leaks should be sealed promptly; for such sealing, ordinary tools should not be used, but rather copper wrenches that do not generate sparks, along with a lever, should be employed to avoid accidents. Even after the pressure in the oxygen pipeline has stabilized, leaks should still be checked daily to prevent accidents. Newcomers also need to be careful when handling oxygen; they shouldn’t make sudden changes in the amount of oxygen supplied, but should do it gently. Hehe, I guess there’s no need to explain why
