Solutions to mechanical seal leakage in the stirrer of a reaction vessel? ?

The mechanical seal of the stirrer in our plant’s oxidation reactor is leaking; a double-face seal is being used, with glycerin as the sealing fluid. There is currently a glycerin leak, and flushing water has been switched to. Is there a way to handle this without stopping operations? I would appreciate advice from fellow sailors.
Is there any sealant that won’t affect your oxidation reaction? It’s okay to miss the liquid that isn’t in the pot.
I work in the mixer industry, and all of our company’s products allow for the mechanical seal to be replaced while the material is still in place. I’m not sure which brand the original owner is using; I wonder if that’s possible.

The choice of sealing fluid can be discussed on the premise that the mechanical seal is functioning properly. But since there is a problem with the seal, it’s best to replace or repair it. Sealing replacement with material is a structural design feature of the mixer, and it has nothing to do with mechanical seals. And it also requires shutting down the machine; it merely ensures that the material inside the container does not leak and saves time on replacing the mechanical seal.
