How to translate TAN. TO TAN. DIMENSION in the pressure vessel data sheet?

This post was last edited by Black gold on 2010-12-15 13:46. In a data sheet for pressure vessels provided by Iran, how should TAN. TO TAN. DIMENSION be translated? Urgent! Urgent! Urgent! !
Tangent-to-tangent (T/T) dimension-- The distance between the tangent of one container head and the tangent of the other head. Seam-to-seam (S/S) dimension -- The distance between the welds on the container head. Generally, T/T = S/S + 4 inches
These are three words: TAN. It means “jar””； TO TAN means “a certain material moves into the tank”; DIMENSION means “size”.
There is a dot after TAN; it’s an abbreviation, and of course it doesn’t mean jar.
