It is mainly to prevent urine from sticking to the tower. The specific measures are as follows: 1. It is strictly prohibited to allow the nozzle to rotate at too high a speed, as this can cause the molten urine to be splashed against the tower walls. 2. Regularly clean and replace the nozzles to prevent them from becoming clogged; this avoids pressure buildup in the nozzles, which could cause melted urine to be splashed against the tower walls. 3. Strict procedures require that the evaporation and recirculation dumping process must be carried out cleanly before steam can be used for blowing out ; Evaporation causes a temperature drop, so circulation must be resumed. 4. It is best to avoid granulation under pressure.
We followed the steps mentioned above, and we also took that into account; it’s inevitable that some sticking to the tower wall will occur. Using large amounts of chemicals can indeed solve this problem, but it’s not cost-effective, and carrying out cycles will lead to an increase in the content of biuret. I’m trying to take climate factors into account to find a way in which the clumps can fall without blocking the feed inlet
By switching to new nozzles, our factory used to clean the tower once a month; after the renovation, it now needs to be cleaned once every six months
Our factory regularly cleans the bottom of the granulation tower’s large vessel; every Thursday during the day shift, evaporation is stopped and the circulation is halted. The bottom of the vessel is then washed with steam condensate, the nozzles are replaced, and the filters are inspected. By doing this on a regular basis, it becomes less likely for clumps to form.
The only approach is to minimize caking; otherwise, regular cleaning is the only option.
