Dear marine enthusiasts, how can we determine the pressure required for a pipeline based on the operating conditions of the equipment? Thank you!
Refer to the concept of pipeline design pressure. It should be the pressure under the most severe conditions when internal or external pressure is coupled with temperature. There are also pipes in special situations, for which the relevant specifications can be referred to. The design pressure is used as a parameter for calculating the thickness and the maximum nominal pressure.
