I would like to ask everyone: regarding the requirements for cable conduits at explosion-proof sites, is it sufficient to use ordinary water pipes, or are there requirements regarding the thickness and material of the conduits? Where can I find these standards?
For cable conduits in explosion-proof areas, galvanized steel pipes that meet national standards can be used; thin-walled pipes are not suitable. Uncoated black iron pipes cannot be embedded or buried underground, as there are specific requirements regarding the wall thickness of steel pipes in such areas. 1.5MM and 2MM are used in different applications. We generally use galvanized steel pipes; of course, pipes that are made with poor quality materials should not be used – they must meet national standards, and it’s acceptable if they fall within the specified range.

Moreover, different explosion protection ratings have distinct requirements; the poster might as well first specify their explosion protection rating. Galvanized pipe will do. Make sure to seal the wires entering and exiting the box/case properly.
