The Conference on the Comprehensive Utilization of Used Tires and the Industry-University-Research Technology Exchange Meeting are about to be held. According to the Ministry of Finance, plans are to revoke the income tax incentives for companies that deal with recycled tires. So if the relevant companies don’t use the platform to make an appeal now, things will be very difficult next year. In order to address the sharp rise in rubber prices and the increasing dependence on imported rubber, accelerate the comprehensive utilization of used tires, promote exchanges and cooperation among industry, academia, and research institutions in this field, improve the technology and equipment used for such utilization, and alleviate resource and environmental constraints, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation has decided to hold the \"China Conference on the Comprehensive Utilization of Used Tires and Technical Exchange Meeting among Industry, Academia, and Research Institutions\" in Beijing from January 7 to 8, 2011. This conference is organized by China Chemical Industry News, the most authoritative news outlet in China’s petroleum and chemical industry. Industry leaders as well as experts and scholars will be invited to attend, providing an excellent platform for organizations involved in the comprehensive utilization of used tires to exchange ideas. Manufacturers of tire retreading materials, recycled rubber, rubber powder, carbon black, and fuel oil ; Units engaged in the production and distribution of rubber raw materials, additives, and rubber products ; Research institutions engaged in the development of special recycled rubber and technologies related to environmental protection ; Design and manufacturing unit for waste rubber recycling production lines ; Engineering construction technical consultation firm ; Suppliers of specialized equipment for refurbishing such as crushers, rubber cutting machines, fiber separators, and screening equipment; tire grinding machines, vulcanization tanks, steam generators, exhaust gas purification systems; rubber machinery and complete sets of equipment; testing equipment; and mold manufacturing ; Industry professionals such as investment advisors will be invited to attend the event.
