When designing pipelines, has anyone considered the bearing capacity of the foundation? For example, at what level must the bearing capacity of the foundation be above in order to install pipes directly, and below what level is it necessary to construct a manual foundation?
This is definitely a matter of experience; it is directly related to the purpose of the underground pipes, their size, and the conditions in which they are buried. If things could be managed with such precision, the buildings in Shanghai wouldn’t topple over.
