1. The gate valve handwheel, handle, and transmission mechanism must not be used for lifting, and impact is strictly prohibited. 2. The double gate plates of the gate valve should be installed vertically, that is, the valve stem should be in a vertical position with the handwheel at the top. 3. For gate valves equipped with a bypass valve, the bypass valve should be opened first before opening the main valve in order to balance the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet and reduce the force required to open it. 4. For gate valves equipped with a drive mechanism, install them in accordance with the instructions provided in the product manual. 5. If the gate valve is used frequently for opening and closing, it should be lubricated at least once a month.
