Loose exchange struts in the basement cause one of the gas exchange valves to not close properly. What are the common reasons for loose exchange struts?
I’m not quite sure how the pull rod gets loose. Such stretching and shrinking of the strips is generally caused by temperature, and adjustments can be made according to the season.
It is possible to check whether the bolts at the connection points have come out.
Check the chain sprockets, the bolts connecting the tie rods, whether there are lock nuts on the tensioners, the proper tension of the tie rods under normal conditions, and the thermal expansion and contraction due to temperature changes
It might be that the setup isn’t adjusted properly; the tensioners near the corner wheels can be adjusted, or the mounting position of the handle may not be standard.
