In my workshop, plunger pumps are used as the pumps for handling the raw materials in the tar processing process. However, the seals on these pumps often leak oil, and the piston carries oil outward, resulting in oil stains all over the pump frame, which is very difficult to clean. Is there any good solution to this problem?

Either replace the pump or use polymer composite materials to seal the leaks; you can consider Fushilan’s products, which allow the issue of sealing leaks to be resolved without shutting down the system. The results are good, and it doesn’t cost much； If the leakage occurs at the dynamic seal, using silicone to seal it up could be an option, and that would solve the problem.
Only replace it with a high-quality seal ring.
Use F4 to make a pair of male and female wedge rings, which become tighter as more pressure is applied. It should get better; we’ve used it on this pump, give it a try.

Change the structure of the packing box and the amount of packing； To avoid hassle, choose imported packing; there is one brand from Germany that is also good.
If oil leakage occurs frequently, check the plunger surface for wear or scratches; if any are present, replace it or repair it by spraying. Choose fillers of good quality.
