There is a hot water tank on site (a horizontal tank), and a Yaskawa dual-flange differential pressure transducer is used for measurement. According to the installation instructions, the flange with “+” should be installed at the top and the one with “–” at the bottom. The tank is 2 meters high, and the medium inside it is circulating hot water. When using the positive migration method at 375, the readings remain inaccurate after the measurement range is reached. What could be the reason?
If measuring the liquid level in a hot water tank, use “-” for the flange on the top and “+” for the flange at the bottom; negative migration should be employed. It is also necessary to check whether high temperatures have an impact on the double flanges.

I agree with the opinion from the first floor; however, we didn’t perform any migration – just performed range calibration, and it’s ready to use.
