Our company uses PVC/FRP materials; UPVC pipes have poor heat resistance, and their tensile strength decreases at temperatures above 60°C (they are suitable for domestic wastewater with a continuous discharge temperature not exceeding 40°C and an instantaneous discharge temperature not exceeding 80°C).
UPVC material is rigid polyvinyl chloride that contains no plasticizers or additives, and is often used in water supply and drainage pipelines due to its non-toxic and odorless properties. However, it has higher hardness, and its temperature resistance is inferior to that of PVC and CPVC. For industrial applications, such as those involving wet chlorine pipelines as mentioned by the original poster, it is not recommended to use UPVC material. If money permits, CPVC, which is chlorinated polyvinyl chloride, can be chosen; this material offers better temperature resistance. The chlorine main pipe can entirely be made of composite materials such as PVC/FRP and CPVC/FRP. Given the difficulty of installation, people generally use titanium tubes before the control valve on the chlorine main pipe, and composite materials afterward.

It doesn’t matter to use a composite material or a titanium tube before drying, but titanium tubes cannot be used after drying, as that would be very dangerous – dried chlorine will react violently with it, potentially even leading to an explosion
