In the ammonia process, dust clogging often affects its proper operation. Do anyone have any good methods? It would be great to share them and learn from each other.
It’s a big problem; we use centrifuges for separation as well as filtering devices, but neither method seems to be very satisfactory. Personally, I think using a sedimentation tank is a more reliable approach. But it hasn’t been tested. Wait for an opportunity.
In fact, the best approach is to minimize the amount of dust that enters the ammonia-based desulfurization system, which requires the owner’s dust removal system to operate properly and stably.
In systems that use sedimentation tanks, a considerable amount of ammonium sulfide crystals are also removed, resulting in losses of ammonium sulfide. However, it runs quite stably. Asking property owners to reduce dust levels isn’t always reliable; do you have any other good suggestions? Feel free to share them.
