If a spherical tank is 15 meters high, what type of level gauge should be used to measure the liquid level inside it? I need an on-site level gauge that is easy to read, as well as one with remote transmission capabilities; I’m not sure how to choose. In my opinion, the distance at the site is too great; if the remote sensing radar cannot be installed at the center, then it will not be able to measure the liquid level at the center.
What medium? Physical and chemical properties?
If radar can’t be used, then a servo level gauge can be employed; it’s more expensive
Guided wave radar or servo level gauges: I have used Enraf servo level gauges with propylene as the medium, as well as Rosemoun guided wave radars also using propylene as the medium; the quality of these products is quite good.
