Sinochem Shandong Fertilizer Co., Ltd. was established in March 2004 and is located in the Linyi Economic Development Zone in Shandong. It enjoys excellent transportation links and serves as an important transportation hub in southern Shandong and northern Jiangsu. Being close to China’s largest fertilizer consumption market, the company has abundant resources related to compound fertilizers. The company has a production capacity of 600,000 tons per year for compound fertilizers, and it uses two types of production facilities: one is a melt granulation unit that employs the domestically leading technology for compound fertilizer manufacturing – the melt tower granulation technique. This is a new type of compound fertilizer production technology developed by the company itself, characterized by high quality, low energy consumption, and minimal pollution. Its products feature smooth particles, fast dissolution speed, and adjustable nutrient ratios; the particles are hollow and porous, providing a natural anti-counterfeiting feature. Another type is the slurry granulation device, which uses a domestically developed \"slurry granulation and drying machine with internal grading and internal material return functions\" to produce broad-spectrum general-purpose compound fertilizers with a 15-15-15 composition. The conversion process makes use of a new \"low-temperature conversion of potassium chloride\" technique that has been developed in recent years and for which independent intellectual property rights exist. The company’s products use Sinochem series brands.
