During the major maintenance when the tank was emptied, the transmitter issued an alarm indicating a value below the minimum limit; this alarm did not go away after the tank was filled with water. Both the instruments and the control room are functioning normally; could it be due to different media?
If you say that both the instruments and the control room are functioning properly, and that the tank on site is filled with water, then it’s likely the pressure generated by the water level that prevents the pressure from reaching above the lower threshold set by the instruments. I wonder what medium this tank is used to store
Turn it on after a power outage for some time. If it still gives an alarm after being turned on, it’s a problem with the transmitter unit inside; disassemble it to check for open circuits or short circuits
Additional note: Check the instrument’s zero point, range, and alarm values to see if they are the same as before.
