Safety managers are generally quite strict; by being strict, they enforce penalties in accordance with the rules and regulations whenever any violation is detected, regardless of who is involved. However, in practice, various problems may arise. Now, there are probably few people who can truly do such a thing. What do people imagine a safety manager to be like?
There’s no need to ask what a safety officer looks like in one’s mind; rather, one should ask what a safety officer looks like in actual work； Being a safety officer is of course a full-time position; they are similar to deputy supervisors in the workshop. In practice, their main responsibilities include providing training on safe operating procedures and identifying potential safety hazards in the workshop, conducting regular safety inspections, and helping to foster a sense of safety awareness among the frontline workers
In some organizations, it is the frontline workers who act as safety officers; they stop working to focus solely on safety tasks. I think the safety officer is too nice; that won’t do.
