Reasons for insufficient flow in reciprocating compressors

We have a Wuxi DW-type compressor, and during startup, abnormal noises are heard from the compressor’s cylinders when it is running under no load. The sound disappears after loading, but the flow rate during operation does not reach the rated value. Please analyze the reasons.
Open the cylinder and check it; there might be a loose component.
It is likely that the air valves are damaged; check the exhaust temperature and pressure, and inspect each air valve if necessary.
The air valve has just been cleaned and inspected; it’s in good condition. The cylinder head was removed to check, and the piston locking nut showed no signs of loosening. The clearance of the crosshead pin is within the specified limits. But the cylinder has minor scratches; the impact should be minimal. Could it be related to the piston rings?
The gap between the piston ring and the cylinder is too large, resulting in poor sealing performance; naturally, the amount of air that can be pumped in is low. This issue should be checked.:)
Reason: 1. High intake air temperature. 2 The air intake filter is clogged. 3 The exhaust valve is damaged. 4 piston rings are leaking. 5 The bypass valve or safety valve is leaking. 6. Fault in the air volume control mechanism.
Check the piston rings, and also check the valve lifting mechanism to see if it’s malfunctioning
Additional note: Check whether the inlet and exhaust pressures are normal; if they are normal, it may be that fluid in the local primary gauge strap is causing inaccurate exhaust flow readings of the indoor gauge.
Is it because the piston rings aren’t sealing properly? Try replacing them and see
