In the production of phosphorus trichloride, as long as there are no impurities in the liquid chlorine and yellow phosphorus inside the chlorination reactor, a complete reaction can take place; by properly controlling the condensation process and the operation of removing phosphorus remaining at the bottom of the reactor, it is possible to utilize everything completely. Phosphorus slag can only be reacted with chlorine in a chlorination tank and then discharged into a neutralization tank; there is no other good solution. Experts, please advise!
