Generally, based on the type of coal specified in your design, the design institute will propose a composition for the shift gas, and then the amount of water required will be determined based on the NH3 content in that shift gas. During normal operation, the water volume remains constant. It will increase only if your NH3 content is significantly higher than the designed level; simultaneously, it is necessary to consider whether the load of the ammonia stripping tower can accommodate this increase.
The flow rate of ammonia wash water at 100% load provided by the design institute generally remains unchanged, even if the raw gas load varies. Of course, it is also necessary to analyze the NH3 content in the exhaust gas; if there is a significant deviation, it could be due to issues such as an inaccurate flow rate of the washing water
The amount of water required for ammonia washing is primarily determined by the ammonia content in the mixture, and it is set based on the capacity to handle that level of ammonia content; generally, the amount of water specified in the design is sufficient to meet the requirements! !
