While reviewing the materials, I came across the statement that \"the diameter of the branch pipe is three grades smaller than that of the main pipe.\" How is this pipe diameter classification determined? ? It is 1“, 2“, 3“, 4“, 5“. . . . Right? ?
The pipe diameter grades are determined according to the dimensions listed in the pipe specification table; there are no specific grade classifications. The “third smallest grade” is determined based on the first three dimensions listed in the pipe specification table
The common nominal diameters of pipes are divided into the following grades: Metric – 15, 20, 25, 40, 50, 65, 80, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 600; Imperial – 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1-1/2, 2, 2-1/2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 24. The metric units are in mm, while the imperial units are in inches. The values listed above represent the nominal diameters of the pipes; the actual outer diameter varies. The “small third grade” refers to the nominal diameter of the grade that is three steps lower in the sequence
