Several modules in Aspen, including Heater, HeatX (also known as RadFrac), can generate Hcurves for mass flow; among them, modules such as Heater and RadFrac can only generate Hcurves for the material side, while HeatX can generate them for both sides. If heat exchange is carried out through utility systems, the data related to those utilities can be selected directly in HTRI; whereas the data related to the materials can either be exported from Hcurve or calculated by selecting components and equations in HTRI.
