Selection issues for pipe flanges

The medium is low-toxicity and flammable; is it appropriate to use PL for the pipe flanges? According to the standards, its use is not recommended. What are everyone’s opinions?
The new regulations state that for flammable and explosive substances, high-strength butt-welded pipe flanges are recommended!
Plate flat welding flanges cannot be used in pressure vessels containing flammable and explosive media. For details, see clause 3.17 of the “Acceptance Specifications” as well as the standard interpretations.
Plate-type butt weld flanges are not very reliable; it’s better to use integral flanges
In the situation described by the poster, it is generally advisable to use a flat-weld flange with a neck; the sealing surface can be chosen as either male-female or ribbed.
