Light saltwater salinity: 315 g/l (26.2%)； Temperature: 70℃ ； 127 m3/h; is the equivalent amount of solid salt 316,800 tons per year?
0.315*127*24*365=350443 tons. How many days are counted per year for your production date calculation? How many hours per day again? 0.315*127*20*350=280,000!
Thank you very much for your reply. I was actually trying to confirm the calculation method, as I saw that a colleague’s result was quite different from mine. Considering your answer as well, if it’s the solid salt concentration per hour (100%), it should be “concentration * flow rate”. We generally calculate it as 330 days or 7,920 hours per year.

Boss, saltwater with a concentration of 315 g/l isn’t considered weak saltwater; the concentration in our ion-exchange membrane electrolyzers is only 300 g/l
Yes, 315 is already approaching saturation; the industry refers to it as “ultrapure brine or refined brine”. There’s no particularly strict requirement to use brine here; my apologies!
