Does the process burner of Shell’s gasification technology also have a three-channel structure? Similar to the Texaco process burner? What medium flows through the three channels?
The process burner of Shell’s gasification technology features a three-channel structure, with oxygen flowing through the central tube and the outer ring, while coal powder flows through the middle ring.
I disagree with the opinion above; SHELL has two channels – coal powder flows in the middle, while oxygen and water vapor at a specific ‘oxygen-to-water ratio’ flow in the outer ring. This is just my humble opinion; let’s have an active discussion
