In October, the MTP unit was brought online using imported methanol (from methanol plants and dimethyl ether plants); by the end of December, boilers No. 4 and No. 5 of the GSP gasification unit were also put into operation. The PP unit had already been activated earlier by using purchased propylene. Once the sections are connected, the key is to see whether the systems upstream and downstream can operate in coordination and run stably. It was bitterly cold; in Ningdong, the temperature was well below zero, with the highest temperatures during the day still at around minus 6 or 7 degrees. Water turned to ice instantly, and it was no longer possible to carry out any work on site. I haven’t studied it in detail; I’m not sure if there are any issues with the removal of CO2. I’ll leave that aside for now – it seems more appropriate to handle it earlier.
