What is the total investment required, in ten thousand yuan, for a set of domestically produced nitric acid production plants with a capacity of 150,000 tons per year, from design to installation?
A 150,000 tons/year double-pressure nitric acid plant costs approximately 360 million yuan.
Oh, I made a mistake just now; it’s approximately 160 million yuan
If a domestic (Shanxi Blower) four-in-one unit is used, the cost is around 150 million yuan; whereas if an imported unit is used, the cost rises to 200 million yuan.

Shaanxi Blower Group is responsible for the installation work worth 270,000 yuan; the platinum mesh is not included in that amount. All elements above ground level, including landscaping, are covered within the price of 173 million yuan. It’s likely that the actual amount agreed upon will be around 165 million yuan, with no problems expected. It is understood that for 150,000 units of these four-in-one units, the cost of domestic units is around 38 million RMB, while those from MAN are around 800 euros. Due to the appreciation of the RMB, there is a difference of about 35 million RMB, which is less than twice the cost of domestic units; thus it is more cost-effective.
Reply to 1# Lcy0214: I’m a newcomer. I’d like to ask how many control valves are used in a setup like yours? I work on control valves! Thank you
Does anyone here know Shaanxi Blower? I’d like to learn about the current status of the units as well.
There are currently two types of 150,000-ton capacity plants: one with a daily production capacity of 500 tons and the other with a capacity of 450 tons per day. Different design firms result in plants with varying production capacities; if Shaanxi Gas Turbine’s units are used, the investment required is approximately 160 million yuan.
