Reasons for the high amount of impurities at the chimney inlet

What is the reason for the high amount of impurities at the inlet of the sulfur chimney? I encountered this question while doing exercises; I don’t quite understand it. Could you all please explain it to me?
What kind of impurities are they? Is it something like rust or salts?
Is it because the chimney is not tall enough?
The original question was: The reason for many impurities at the chimney inlet is 1. The hydrogen sulfide content in the exhaust gases is high. 2 is due to poor insulation of the chimney, resulting in dew point corrosion. 3 is the low flue gas temperature. Then I kind of didn’t understand, hehe
It is caused by too high a level of elemental sulfur in the exhaust gases.
