Seeking guidelines for statistical tracking in chain ledgers

I’d like to ask those in charge of instrument workshops: how is a chain ledger created? Is it calculated based on the input points or on the devices being controlled? I’m a bit stuck at the moment. If one pressure switch activates one device, I consider it one cascade; if the same pressure switch activates two devices, I still consider it one cascade. But if counted based on the devices that are controlled, it should be two cascades. I’d like to ask how others handle this situation? I’m at a thermal power plant.
Regarding the compilation of records for interlocking equipment, one’s own approach to statistics can be chosen according to personal needs, but several key points must be kept in mind: 1. The list should include all devices that are related to interlocking； 2. The listed devices appear in the detailed table in the form of interlock circuits ； 3. After the ledger is established, it should facilitate the statistics of indicators for other devices, serving as a basis for their calculations, including categorized statistics such as valves, safety barriers, and various measurement points ； Statistics on equipment defects, statistics on the rate of good condition, and so on ； 4. The general principle is that once the ledger is established, it should be understandable to those in the relevant field, facilitating queries, and it should also be understandable to those who are not in that field (including managers as well) ； Also, the interface format must look neat ；
