For the connection terminals of electrical cables, it is necessary to crimp them using a crimping tool. The dies of such tools come in different types: point crimping, circumferential crimping, and overlapping crimping. How can one determine which type of die is being used based on its shape? What are the usage conditions and scope of these three types of molds? I earnestly ask fellow sailors for their advice!
I’ve seen hexagonal ones; I’m not sure if that counts as confining pressure. It doesn’t seem to matter, same question.
